New York Women’s Fashion Week ✧ Fall 2022 ✧
Our one and only New York Women’s Fashion Week is back for the Fall season. The show started yesterday at 6PM, and will be held until Wednesday 14th. In general, the NYFW opens the long list of shows during the fashion month (January and September), followed by Milan, Paris and London. The biggest names in fashion will be back on the podium!
How to attend the New York Women’s Fashion Week 2022
There are two different shows:
- Industry shows: for those who will buy pieces from creators and press.
- Open-to-the-public shows
But there is a third way to attend: digital Fashion Week on live streams. They are either available on designer’s web portals, or on the NYFW’s official website.
Must-see of this season
There is more than a hundred brands present, without forgetting the designers who are used to perform there. Fendi, Marni, Tommy Hilfiger, Tom Ford, La Bodega, Mua Mua.. Steven Kolb, the CEO of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, announced that it is one of the biggest seasons in fashion. It is, and will always be, an obligation to attend the New York show, being the center of the international fashion calendar.
Vogue World: New York promises to be one of the key and most original moments. Participants, both online and onsite, can shop limited pieces on September 12th. Trying clothes on oneself in augmented reality becomes possible, by the use of lenses created for the event on Snapchat. The purchase is not only available during the show, but in kiosks selected by Vogue. They wanted to mix a classic fashion show atmosphere with a fair, showing the youthful and frenetic side of New York.
